The Legacy Ensemble was created to ensure continued performances of well trained young adult singers from the south suburbs of Chicago in professional concerts. These singers are all graduates of the Southland High School and former Chorus members under the direction of Elizabeth Norman - Sojourner where they received countless awards and performance opportunities. During the school year they are college students who are scattered across the US in some of the most prestigious college campuses like UofC, University of Chicago, University of Alabama, Hampton University, Wash University and others studying as academic scholars. During the summer, when they return home, music and their love for performing has continued to be a unifier for this ensemble.
